I take the protection of your personal data seriously and process it only in accordance with the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and Czech data protection law.

This website is hosted on infrastructure operated on a server located in the EU (PLACEHOLDER: confirm provider and location before go-live). Server log data (IP address, time, requested resource) may be processed by the hosting provider to operate and secure the service, on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

When you use the contact form, the data you enter (name, email, optional company, message) is transmitted to me by email to handle your enquiry. Legal basis: steps prior to entering a contract and legitimate interest in responding (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). The data is deleted once it is no longer required and no statutory retention periods apply.

This site uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly, self-hosted analytics tool. Plausible does not use cookies and does not collect any personal data or cross-site identifiers. All measurement is aggregated and anonymous, so no consent banner is required. Legal basis: legitimate interest in understanding aggregate site usage (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and embeds no Google Fonts, Google Maps or social-media trackers.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact me at hello@alesnovak.dev.
